Birds of Prey

Instructor: Trenton Powell

Come learn about bald eagles, hawks, vultures, and owls that live in Arkansas. This exciting program will discuss what makes them different, what they like to eat, and how they hunt. Trenton Powell with the Delta Rivers Nature Center will bring some of the center’s star attractions, so we get a chance to see them up close!

Trenton was born and raised in New Orleans but moved to Arkansas where he studied biology at Lyon College. He first began working with birds of prey as a Zoo Educator at the Little Rock Zoo.
